Light from a large cutout in the building's wall slanted across the floor. Using the shape of the light as a frame, I waited for someone to walk through it. By sinking the surroundings and the figure into darkness, the color image becomes almost monochrome. It conveys both the hope of a person moving toward the light and the loneliness of an individual in an impersonal city.
