Through the hazy glass, I chanced upon this scene: the PUSH sign hangs above a riot of illusory light, and the thick rope knot seems both real and unreal in the play of light and shadow. The flowing halos of color blur the boundaries of reality; the door is an exit you can push open, yet the sight before me feels like a dreamscape. Pressing the shutter to capture the fleeting ambiguity, I can't tell whether it is the real scene behind the door or a vain dream floating on the glass.
