A corner of the city wrapped in hustle and bustle. In the foreground, people coming and going overlap as if to block the view, and behind them emerges a person holding up a board that reads “Free Bible.” In an information-saturated urban space created by giant advertisements, high-rise buildings, and an endless flow of people, only the handwritten words feel strangely direct and exude a strong presence. By capturing it in monochrome, I suppressed the noise of color and highlighted the tension held by the people, the text, and the architecture. Rather than speaking of faith itself, this work records the figure of one person who, even in a city where everyone hurries past, still tries to deliver their own words.
